After appearing in 76 German League matches and scoring 29 goals, Chicharito returned to England. He was happy to join West Ham.
“West Ham is a historic club and very ambitious,” said the top scorer in Mexico’s history.
Chicharito’s presence further strengthens West Ham’s attack line. Previously, The Hammers have made a record purchase by bringing Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City for 20 million pounds.
Slaven Bilic’s side also reinforced the back line by borrowing Joe Hart from Manchester City. Pablo Zabaleta also previously entered with a free transfer status.
